Enrolment and Payment Terms
The terms on which a place on a course is bought. Separate from the terms of use, which govern the website: this page governs the purchase — when the contract forms, what the fee covers, and what has to be true before a certificate is issued.

01Who you are contracting with
Courses are sold and delivered by Safe Road Training and Testing Center, whose address is on the contact page. Its parent entity is Safe Road Skill and Technology LLP, and "Safe Road Training and Testing Center" is a registered trade name of that entity.
These terms apply to every enrolment made through this website or against a quotation we have issued, whether the fee is paid by the trainee or by an employer sending a batch.
02When the contract forms
Browsing this site, asking for a rate and receiving a quotation create nothing binding on either of us. A contract forms when we have received your fee, or the agreed part of it, and have confirmed your seat — and it is on these terms as they stand on that day.
We may decline an enrolment. Where we do, any fee already paid is returned in full, and we do not have to give a reason.
03What the fee covers
The fee covers the training described on the course's own page — the classroom hours, the practical hours, the use of the vehicles, the track and the equipment, and the certificate the course concludes in.
It does not cover travel, food or accommodation, the driving-skill test fee, or the licence fee. The last two are dealt with below.
- —Published rates are per person unless a quotation says otherwise
- —The rates the State notifies for the accredited centres are inclusive of GST, because the notification states them that way
- —Our own rates for the Varanasi courses are exclusive of GST, which is charged in addition as applicable
- —A batch, on our premises or yours, is quoted rather than priced from the published list
04What we do not collect
We take no payment directly from any candidate for the driving-skill test. The centre is a facility centre for the Transport Department's test: it is conducted by RTO officials on our track, in collaboration with the centre, and the fee is paid by the applicant directly on the Government portal.
We do not take a fee for the licence. That is the licensing authority's, on its own scale and its own timeline.
05Attendance, and the certificate
Every course carries a minimum number of hours fixed by regulation. A certificate states that those hours were completed, so it cannot be issued to somebody who did not sit them — that is not a policy we can waive.
A certificate is issued when the course is complete, the attendance is complete and the fee is paid in full, within 7 working days of the last of those. A trainee who misses part of a batch is moved to a later one rather than certified short.
06Payment
Payments are taken in Indian rupees. Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partner; we do not receive or store your card details, which pass directly to the gateway.
An employer sending a batch may settle against an invoice on the terms recorded in the quotation.
07Cancelling, moving, and refunds
Refunds, withdrawal windows and moving to a later batch are set out in full in the refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms. Read it before you pay rather than after.
In short: a course longer than fifteen days may be left within its first three days for a full refund; any other course may be cancelled up to 24 hours before it starts for a full refund; and if we postpone a batch, you choose between a full refund and the next batch.
08What we are responsible for
We are responsible for delivering the training described, by instructors competent to give it, on equipment fit for it. We do not guarantee that any trainee will pass an assessment or that any licensing authority will grant a licence — those turn on the trainee's own performance and on a decision that is not ours.
Our liability under any enrolment is limited to the fee paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited in law.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Where these terms and a right you hold under the law differ, the law applies.
