Varanasi sits where the eastern corridor meets the river, and much of what moves through it is regulated cargo: motor spirit and diesel to the retail network, LPG to the bottling plants, chemicals to the belt beyond Mirzapur, cascades to the city gas network.
Every one of those vehicles must, by rule, be driven by somebody who has completed an approved course. Before this centre was licensed, a transporter here sent drivers several hundred kilometres for that certificate, or did without and hoped the terminal would not check.
So the centre carries the whole thing in one place: a training hall, a ground with a placarded tanker on it, and the licence under which the certificate is issued. Drivers come from depots and contracted fleets across India, and from Nepal.
The same courses run at your depot on request. For a batch it is usually cheaper — the vehicles keep earning and the training happens where the work is.

Five courses, and two reasons for them
All five are conducted at this centre, and all five can be brought to your depot.
One exists because the law requires it
The three-day Rule 9 course, and only that one, concludes in the certificate the licensing authority acts on. No other course here puts anything on a driving licence, and none is meant to.
Four exist because the work requires it
They are built by our own trainers against the Central Motor Vehicles Rules and the Oil Industry Safety Directorate’s standards, each for a skill the job asks for. They conclude in this centre’s certificate, which is what an employer and a safety audit need.
